Role overview

We are looking for applications from prospective speaking examiners willing to join our expanding IELTS examination operations in Geneva and Lausanne. We welcome applications exclusively from candidates living in these two cities or in nearby suburbs (30-45 min travel time from home).

Speaking examiners typically conduct candidate interviews at a test venue on a Thursday or a Saturday, testing between 10 and 20 candidates per exam session. Occasionally they might be required to test on other weekdays as well. Current British Council IELTS examiners work once every several weeks, mostly on Saturdays, and several times a year on a Thursday or Friday.
