We build engagement and trust for the UK through the exchange of knowledge and ideas between people worldwide. By working with government, civil society and the science community we help to advance debate, knowledge and skills, and want to create a wider mutual appreciation of the UK and Switzerland as valued partners.
Through our projects we are looking to work more closely with young, influential people and in different private and public partnerships.

Famelab
FameLab is an exciting competition for young researchers. It aims to find the new voices of science and engineering across the world. FameLab encourages scientists to inspire and excite public imagination with a vision of the 21st century of science.
UK Arts
The Arts is a key sector of activity for the British Council. Our mission is to find new ways of connecting with and understanding each other through the arts. Globally we aim by 2015 to engage with over three-quarters of a million artists, cultural leaders and ministers, and over five million exhibition, festival, event and performance attendees.
